The R18PD7-0 is sold as a 'bare' tool (without a battery or charger) but is compatible with all batteries and chargers across the 18V ONE+ system.Troubleshooting stepsIf there is a burning smell coming from the drill then that is a sign of user error with the motor being overloaded.If the motor is running but the chuck is not turning that would suggest a gear issue on the drill. This could be caused by the user using to large of drill bit in the drill.If no sign of overload of the motor, the issue could be with the switch
