It is used to convert manual pumps to automatic. It is recommended for use in applications with limited space. This Little Giant 599008 RS-5 Piggyback Diaphragm Switch can provide automatic control to any manual pump with up to 1/2 horsepower by using 115 volt single phase. It comes with a 10’ power cord. It boasts a diaphragm switch activated by pressure from rising water around the switch housing.
